Bolle Quasar Goggle - 2008

The Bolle Quasar Goggle is a collision of style and function. This goggle’s sleek lines and high-tech production improve any experience on the snow. Each of the Quasar’s dual-layer spherical lenses has a P80 anti-fog and anti-scratch coating that improves your clarity of vision and protects your investment. Bolle’s Equalizer and Flow-Tech vents keep moisture from building up in your goggle, so you can spot more details on the snow. Total UV protection saves your eyes for your golden years, and triple-layer face foam helps this goggle sit comfortably on your face.

Bottom Line: Make the Bolle Quasar Goggle your new number one.

Decent

The lenses have held up well but they are not quite as dark as I prefer them and on bright sunny days I find myself squinting quite a bit. No problems with fogging and they are comfortable.

Poor

I had the predecessors to these 3 seasons ago and they looked great on. The only trouble was that the mirror coating I had worked off very quickly with just normal polishing whilst almost new. I contacted Bolle but they insisted I must've been at fault. Not impressed and a real shame.

These are a nice goggle, but the lens is much lighter than I anticipated. They are probably around 50-60% VLT (visible light transmission). Bolle has a newer version of this same goggle with a lens of same name (Aurora) that has around 30% VLT so I was thinking it would be about the same. Anyway, it has a nice frame and fits Giro helmets well if you need something for very cloudy days.
