Black Diamond Wiz Kid Harness - 2007

The Black Diamond Wiz Kid Harness has been the standard for years, and it just got easier and safer with the addition of Speed Buckles that are always doubled back. Your kid just slips it on, tightens the waist, and he's all set. This scaled-down version of the Momentum harness has a wide range of adjustment in both the waist and legs, so it'll still fit your little one as he keeps growing. Excellent padding in the waist and legs make the Black Diamond Wiz Kid Harness comfortable to hang around in. Remember when you were a kid and swinging around on the rope was fun instead of frustrating? *For kids from 35-110lb.

This fits my 8 year old perfectly with plenty of room to grow. Well made as usual for BD. Easy on and off and comfortable, as far as I can say.

Black Diamond Quality !

I bought 3 of these harness's - 2 for our kids and one for a friend. Everyone loves them - especially the adults. They're easy to adjust with the Speed Buckles, and even my son doesn't mind the colour. This harness even held my daughter secure when she flipped upside down. The suggested weight range appears to be accurate as my son was only 17kg's when I bought them and the harness fit him fine. Nearly 2 years later and these harnesses are going strong !

Hi - I'm tossing up between this kid's harness or a woman's harness
I'm a 5"1, 40kg 24year old female - so am quite petite and have a bit of trouble finding harnesses that are a snug fit
what would you recommend? Kids' harness or womens???

The sizing chart is just below the pull down menu. That is probably your best bet to figure out which one is right for you. Just remember that kids are shaped like kids, and women are shaped like women. A women's harness is built to fit your hips, waist and legs properly.

I have ordered two of these harnesses for my kids - ages 7 & 9. They both fit well and adjust to changing bodies (normal get thick, get tall & skinny growth spurts).

First time shopping with this site but not the last. My 4 year old was thrilled with his harness. It fits great, is comfortable and gets the job done. It also adjusted for my 6 year old nephew to try out. The shipping was really fast, too.

Love this

We bought this for our daughter's 7th b-day. She has no problems adjusting it herself. After her first climb in the WIZ KID she said she can climb in just her underwear-it did rub her legs. She is just at 40lbs (every strap as tight as the harness allows). She flipped upside down, WIZ KID held her in, even with all the flapping she was doing to get upright.

Climbing with confidence

My son was at the low end of the weight scale when we got him this harness. Although he is slim it was a bit loose on the leg loops (as snug as the straps allow) but the waist was good to go. He hasn't complained once about the fit or rubbing. It's nice to see him climbing without reservation from the harness and it makes me feel more secure when belaying him.

Great Kids Harness

I bought one of these to round out our number of kids to the number of harnesses we have. They love this harness and fight over who gets to wear it. It's easy for them to put on and comfortable for them to wear. My oldest did his first lead climb in this harness!
