Black Diamond Quicksilver/Hot Wire Quickdraw - 2006
The Black Diamond Quicksilver2 Anodized Quickdraw is BD's answer to climbers who prefer a wiregate on the rope-clipping end of the draw. A Quicksilver2 is on the top of this draw, providing a wide gate opening for easy bolt clipping, while an anodized HotWire is on the bottom, keeping things light and providing an easy-to-clip connection to the rope. The hooded nose of the HotWire protects against gate flutter and gate whiplash, while simultaneously reducing the chance of the gate being rubbed open. A sleek, patterned Spectra dogbone ensures both maximum strength and durability. –Vendor
Bottom Line: The workhorse draw of choice for those who want a wiregate on bottom.
