Atomic Snoop Daddy Alpine Ski - 2007

Get off the tram, and get on the Atomic Snoop Daddy Alpine Skis before the wind blows you over. These all-mountain skis have the edge grip to get you over the windblown ice, the width to float you through the pow, and the stability to carve high-speed turns on the groomers. The Atomic Snoop Daddy is a one-ski quiver for big mountain skiers and freeriders—if you can only afford to have one ski in your quiver, the Snoop Daddy is for you. Atomic built the Snoop Daddy Skis with their lightweight synthetic Beta 4 platform. This dual-channel construction profile keeps swing weight low for quick turns while offering impressive lateral stiffness so that the Snoop Daddy Ski's won't wash out on hard turns. From fresh flakes to shining ice, the Snoop Daddy owns the hill.

Bottom Line: Ski the Atomic Snoop Daddy Skis all day and sip on gin and juice all night.

Solid all-round; good tourer

Took these out' set up with Duke touring bindings in hut based 4 day touring environment. They handled everything well and have plenty to offer in the speed and turn initiation. In a touring set-up these are ideal for slack country and hut based laps. Also, not a heavy ski but solid feel to them with the Dukes. Afterwards had them in-bounds and again proved to be versatile for crud, through to hard groomers. Highly recommend them.

Snoop Daddy -Atomic
I wanted to replace my Rossignol B3's (94mm underfoot) with a ski that was a little more versatile for both in-bound and backcountry skiing.

I bought the Atomics and they did not disappoint! I am only 150cm and 45kg so went for the 163cms. They are great in powder, being light and easy to turn. On piste they hold a great edge. Only being light they are really fast - hold on and stay on top of these skis or you'll get spanked. They do require a bit more effort on hard pack ..overall a great ski
for an advanced female skier.

Go Lighter or Heavier

I set these up with Naxo NX21's for my touring setup. They for sure get the job done and provide a nice ski for the ride down. Overall though I would probably go for a dynafit on a lighter ski like the hollow glass Head 95's. The skis themselves have a nice design but are not gonna have that solid feel in a turn like a wood core. The base is a bit brittle, mine tore out a good chunk without a normal style of ding, it was more jagged so that is a bit crummy. Overall a pretty good ski, but I would probably not buy something like it again.
