Armada T Hall Ski Pole - 2008

The Armada T Hall Ski Pole incorporates the versatile Instrument Pole System to give you more options that any other pole out there. With interchangeable grips, shafts, and baskets, these poles let you swap out broken shafts or switch up your baskets depending on the conditions you’re riding on a given day. Use the 55mm baskets for park or groomer days and pop on the 95mm pow baskets for full-on snorkeling. Armada’s signature Love Handle grip comes off in a jiffy when you need to replace or cut down a shaft.

Bottom Line: No more wasting bent or broken poles!

I rode these poles for about a month with no problem then after writing the review below the tip of one of them fell of. I contacted backcountry and they quickly sent me a new pair of poles though, Love Backcountry.com

I had to zip tie mine when the red toothed rings broke. Still works it's just not as easy having to cut the old zip tie off then re-zip tie a new one on.

Love Them

So easy to change from power to park baskets after the pow gets tracked down, and the handles are the most comfortable i've every skied with.

Sweet Poles

By:
October 22, 2008

You haven't poled til you've used Armada's moto style grip. I feel like I pole twice as well with the rounded grip compared to the molded hand/pistol grip type other brands use. Comes with pow and park baskets which is sweet. Super stylie on the slopes

UPDATED: Having used these for an entire season I have some problems with Armada as a company. The little red toothed rings that hold the different baskets on have a tendency to snap resulting in either not being able to swap baskets anymore or having the basket fall off completely. I contacted Armada multiple times and they never got back to me. I didn't buy these through Backcountry but it sounds like if I had they would have swapped me new poles. So be wary of buying them anywhere that doesn't have a solid dedication to customer happiness like Backcountry does. If you do have this problem you can use little zip ties to keep the baskets on, however this obviously makes it much less easy to swap baskets

Pricey but convenient

They're 52's brother not 47's. Won't be an issue if you're 6'4" or shorter. I got them because you can replace shafts and the basket swap takes about 2 seconds.
