Arc'teryx Zeta Softshell Jacket - Men's

Arc’teryx used Polartec Power Shield fabric to create the lightweight, water-resistant, and highly breathable Men’s Zeta Softshell Jacket. Weighing in at only 12.3oz, this jacket plays the part of moisture-avoidant softshell, or the breathable baselayer for under your shell when the precipitation really starts to come down. Arc’teryx designed this piece with articulated elbows and no-lift gusseted underarms to provide unrestricted movement. Sporting two hand pockets, one chest, and one internal mesh pocket, you’ll have plenty of room to store goodies for a gram-counting backcountry trip or a multi-pitch route.

Bottom Line: Experience the bliss that is Arc’teryx with this lightweight, multi-purpose softshell.

How does the Zeta compare to the Epsilon AR? Is it more water

How does the Zeta compare to the Epsilon AR? Is it more water resistant or more windproof? Also, is it sized like the Epsilon or is it more athletic cut like the Gamma MX?

The Arc'teryx Zeta has a slightly different polyester face from the Epsilon. The difference is the Zeta has a bit more water resistance, but it is quite a bit softer than the Epsilon; almost has a silky texture. Size on these two is very similar, not as close fitting at the Gamma MX (or as much stretch)

They are an Athletic cut. Medium is my usual size (5'10" 165), but I could not layer underneath. I went with a large instead. Its Probably meant to be this way with only a T shirt underneath. Hope this helps
