Arc'teryx Stingray Pant - Women's

The Arc'teryx Women's Stingray Ski Pants use Gore-Tex Soft Shell material to keep you protected from the weather and provide top-notch breathability for your aggressive riding style. Fully taped seams give the Stingray Pants weather resistance that most softshells can't touch, so you can ride in burly weather without worrying about getting wet. Arc'teryx even added a RECCO reflector which may help ski patrol find you in the event of an avalanche.

Bottom Line: Ride as hard as you want. The Arc'teryx Stingray Ski Pants keep up without breaking a sweat.

The older Stingray pant had a slightly more trim fit, angled zip cover, and less re-inforced insteps. A note, this pant is fully waterproof and has flannel lining, which adds a bit of insulation.

Not worth 350

Who pays $350 for water resistant pants. I guess if the Arcteryx symbol means that much to you get them. Otherwise get some OR or Mountainhardwear and get the same quality for half the price

I rec'd the Arcteryx Stingray Pant for Christmas. They are very thin and lite weight. What do I layer them with? Will my long underwear due?

For colder days, the Rho AR bottom (reg length or boot cut) is the ultimate. It's got a smooth face fabric so it won't bind against the fleece in your Stingray pants; for warmer days, I'd go with the Rho LT or LTW (merino wool). And for the really bitter days, wear both and you'll be out all day.

You can use long underwear, there are many different weights to keep you warm. If you are still getting cold I recommend a fleece layer, if you don't want the bulk Cloudveil has a pair of fleece shorts. I think they are called the ultimate boxer short.

My Daughter Loves 'Em

By:
May 6, 2009

She received these for Christmas and after a season of use where they travelled halfway around the world, they still look new. She's pretty hard on her gear and, these did the job. To answer LynnLs question below, with a pair of synthetic long underwear they were plenty warm through a cold eastern winter. And during spring skiing and hiking she found them very breathable. It doesn't hurt that they are very flattering as well. Cheers.

I have the Arc'teryx Stingray Jacket in White Tea. I wanted

I have the Arc'teryx Stingray Jacket in White Tea. I wanted to buy the matching pants but the Stingray Pant look a lot lighter in color than the jacket. They are both "white tea" and both on sale this season, so do you think I can buy the white tea pants and know that it will match my jacket?

Yes the match will be good! Both are new colors from this winter and both are made to go together. The White Tea Color is the light part of the jacket. If you want to buy the matching color with the darker part of the jacket, go with the SIDEWINDER SV Pants color Green Tea!
