Though the Arc'teryx Women's Stiletto Jacket has enough style for a night out on the town, it would much rather spend time in the mountains. The Stiletto Jacket uses textured Polartec Thermo Pro fabric to provide excellent insulation with less weight and bulk than comparable tops. Polaretc Thermo Pro fabric babies your skin thanks to its smooth, soft feel. Its asymmetrical neck zipper keeps from chafing your chin when you’re on the move. Underarm gussets provide a tapered look as well as keep the Stiletto from riding up when you're climbing, hiking, or skiing.
Bottom Line: Heels or crampons—either set of spikes is a great match for the Arc'teryx Stiletto Jacket.
I would say this has kept me very warm by itself during camping and climbing trips ranging from 40-50F. In terms of looks, I honestly don't think it looks flattering on me, despite the fact that it fits well. I am 5'6, 130 lbs, and the medium fits me well...I just am not too hot about the way it looks. As for warmth and versatility, however, it does the job well.
i really needed something for layering and this one is perfect. Arc'teryx is quickly taking over my closest. i'm not a fan of how fleece looks so this jacket makes the marks in my book - fleece softness and warmth but awesome textured styling and the asymmetrical neckline gives it an interesting and unique look. exactly what I was looking for
I bought this on clearance a season or two ago. I didn't know how much I'd like it. The one I ordered is orange, and at the time, I didn't wear much orange. I do now, and it's mostly because of this sweater. I wasn't sure how much I'd like the funny zipper, but you get used to having it unzipped really quickly. I love the texture of the fabric, as well. It seems nicer than your average fleece. With its close fit, it layers nicely.
Bottom line: I get compliments on this all the time.
This works even better than I had thought it would. Unique fabric and weave. Very warm, yet breathable on those days when I overdress. If it had been available in medium, I probably would have gone for it instead of the small, but in a way the tighter fit might just work better. I can still fit my Arc'teryx Delta underneath it on cold days. Also like the side zipper, which keeps my chin cozy.
Nice jacket. Bought it for my wife. She usually wears a small, but I got her a medium due to recommendations. Still not big enough! Unless your a little person, you'd better size up. Other than the size issue, it seems like a very high quality item.
Not only is this fleece warm, it looks great too. I bought this fleece a size bigger because it is Arc Teryx, but it is a little bigger than I expected. This has quickly become one of my favorite warm weather tops!
I just took this fleece on a trip to Lake Tahoe, and the temps were bitterly cold. This kept me warm, and I also wear it just to keep warm around town. Another fabulous Arc'teryx product.
I love my Arc'teryx Stiletto Jacket. It took a bit of getting used to the neck side zip but on colder days there's nothing but fleece rubbing against my chin. I've got the Arcteryx Sidewinder Jacket & this is a nice piece to wear underneath the shell. I use this fleece as much as a technical piece as a fashion forward piece: it always gets compliments, I think because of the cool grid-like pattern cut into the outer layer of the fleece. I do recommend going up 1 size in Arcteryx fleece & staying with your normal size if the top has wool in it.
Got this a few weeks ago as a midweight layer for colder days on the slopes, is lightweight, fits well under my cloudveil headwall jacket and kept me toasty warm in minus 0 windchill. Great as an outerlayer when just tooling around town or out walking the dog as well. Wish they had more color selection as I would definitely get more to add to my closet.
I am 5'5, 140, and the medium fits really well. Only thing to be wary of is if you have a long torso; the shoulder to hem length is definitely building for an average sized torso. The side zipper adds a unique twist, and the textured fabric of the fleece prevents it from pilling when washed. Very warm, very soft inside, and if you get a deal on SAC, go for it!
