Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Women's
Arc’teryx packed tons of protection into the Women’s Sidewinder AR Jacket while maintaining a trim fit and minimum weight. This is the go-to jacket for a lady skier to venture out in a blizzard that would make a polar bear shiver—Gore-Tex’s top-of-the-line Pro Shell fabric and fully Gore-taped seams remain impervious to snow, and a stowable storm hood expands to fit over your helmet. A powder skirt with gripper elastic stays in place around your hips, and a built-in RECCO avalanche reflector serves as a big safety bonus. The Sidewinder AR Jacket’s offset front zipper means you needn’t have a zipper digging into your chin as you plan your next pole plant, and Arc’teryx even shaped this jacket with a slightly forward lean to cater to a skier’s stance.
Bottom Line: Staying inside on the deepest days would just be no fun at all.

the '09 version of the Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR (pictured here) uses a slightly softer face fabric than previous versions.
