Arc'teryx Rho SL Crew - Women's

Bring along the Arc’teryx Women’s Rho SL Crew for a weekend of winter camping and stay warm inside the tent and out. Soft next to your skin, this ultralight base layer wicks away moisture to keep you comfy and dry. Raglan sleeves keep seams off your shoulders and flatlock seams throughout this Arc’teryx top prevent chafing. Fewer seams and a women's -specific fit reduce restrictions on your movement. Layer up the Arc’teryx Rho SL Crew for a day of nordic skiing or snowshoeing and wear alone when its time to crawl into your sleeping bag.

Bottom Line: The ideal base layer for any excursion.

Can't get enough

This crew is my "go to shirt" and wears amazing. They wash well and dry quick. I am 5"3, 125 lbs and Med. fits great. The best baselayer you will own.

I'm looking into buying this for my mom for her to wear under

I'm looking into buying this for my mom for her to wear under something else when she's outside in the early morning when it's chilly. we're from So. CA so I'm not exactly sure how you would properly layer clothing when it's cold in the morning because it doesn't get subzero cold, but for us Californians it feels cold. Would this be a good base layer to wear under something else? Could you also recommend what you could typically wear over this layer?

These are great to wear under any clothes, because they are thin, but will hold up way better than other "silkweight" layers. Not the warmest base layer (Rho LT)but very thin. For a next layer, look at the Delta jackets (if your wearing a wind-resistant outer layer) or a softshell like a Gamma SV Hoody or Easyrider (which have warm high-loft fleece inside)for good weather resistance without a lot of other layering required.

Great 1st layer

This shirt was awesome out on the Aspen slopes. It is lightweight and feels great, fits great - super thin so no bulk under your next layer. I wore this, a light fleece and my ski jacket in 20 degree skiing and it was perfect. Highly recommend.
