Just bought these shorts a month ago and was initially a little concerned by all the negative criticism they receive for being "too long". I took them out climbing to Wyoming with me and they performed very well. They are particularly lightweight, comfortable, and very durable. For me, the length is perfect. I normally wear knee length cargo shorts and these are right at my knee (150 lbs 6'0 "30). The price tag is a bit much but you get what you pay for. I'll be ordering another pair soon!

I own 3 pairs of these guys and I love them. These were my first "climbing" shorts and I did not think they would be this great for climbing. First, they have a fully gusseted crotch which makes for extremely great mobility. Overhanging heels hooks usually are a problem with alot of my shorts and they take away my range of motion but not these bad boy. Simply awesome. They are comfortable, breath extremely well, and super durable. I really can't say enough about these things.

The only problem is the Titanium stains easy...and permanently. Usually bike grease comes off all my clothes, but not these guys. But I fixed that by getting 2 dark Titanium.

I was a little concerned that these shorts would be too long for my tastes based on the picture. (Long is good, too long is not. A fine balance, you see.) However, I'm a skinny, 6 foot tall guy with a 30" waist who is moderately concerned about looking good and they hit right around my knees - perfect. While pricey, they're not too baggy, they look good, and they feel like a swimsuit. I'll be wearing these often on a year-long 'round-the-world trip. I ordered the Titanium ones and the color in the photo pictured on this site is an accurate representation of what they actually look like. Overall, a good blend of stylish and functional.

Just what I wanted--lighter and more stretchy and flexible than most shorts; comfortable in warm weather; not too low in the crotch, so they're easy to hike in (they're definitely not too long for me, but I'm on the tall side). And they look good, so you don't feel silly if you wear them in the city. I'm going to buy another pair.

These are great lightweight shorts for summer backpacking. Lightweight, yet durable- these shorts are have a bit of stretch in them and are incredibly quick drying. The double button waist closure is awesome- much more durable then a traditional button closure. They hit me right at the knee... perfect length- not too short at all. I wouldn't want them any shorter or longer. All pockets sit nice and flat when empty.
These shorts are made in China.

Extremely comfortable shorts. Lightweight, stretchy, and great response. I wish they were as stretchy as the Gamma LT pants but they are still stretchy nonetheless. If you are tall, don't be too concerned about the length of the shorts for I'm 6'4" and they come down to just above my knees. Overall, just awesome shorts.

I purchased these shorts for a two week hiking trip to Glacier National Park. I had two other pairs of shorts with me and wore these shorts 75% of the time. Perfect length, quick drying, good looking and very comfortable.

I bought another pair of these, different color, why?
Because these are simply great. They are so light and comfortable I've been wearing them as much as possible (exception - when I'm not wearing the fabulous Arcteryx Visio shorts!).

But these shorts are cool, look great, feel great. What? Great!
