Arc'teryx Fission AR Jacket - Women's - 2006

The Arc'teryx Women's Fission AR Jacket is packed with features that will make you the envy of the tram line. A helmet compatible, stowable hood gives you extra protection on blower days. The laminated PrimaLoft construction provides plenty of insulation, so you can ease up on the base layers. WaterTight zippers, reinforced shoulders, knit cuffs and a shorter length keep this jacket hip and functional, so you can wear it to the après ski party and continue to turn heads. *Available for US shipment only.

The hood fits nicely into the stowaway collar, which is well designed, though the hood its noticeably bigger and less form fitting than stand-alone arcteryx hoods.
The women's cut is very flattering, as it tapers quite a bit at the waist. The Primaloft synthetic down retains shape well; the jacket is remarkably light and warm. All around great design, not to mention having Goretex XCR.

I really like this jacket. I'm wearing it primarily for alpine skiing in temps above twenty. It's light and warm. I like the tall collar, and the soft lining is easy on the chin. The drawstring at the bottom enables you to customize the fit somewhat. Quality construction and high-tech fabric make this a winner.
