Arc'teryx Ether Comp Jersey - Long-Sleeve - Men's

The Arc'teryx Men's Ether Comp Long-Sleeve Jersey uses a fast-wicking, stretchy polyester and Lycra blend fabric to keep you comfortable and moving freely during demanding days in the mountains. Use the Ether Comp Jersey as a standalone top for mountain biking or trail running, and wear it as a base layer on a skiing or winter climbing trip. Arc'teryx added reinforcements to this shirt's shoulders and arms for increased abrasion resistance against your backpack and nasty bushwhack approaches. *Only available for US shipment.

Bottom Line: Stay dry, stay cool, and move comfortably when you wear the Arc'teryx Ether Comp Jersey.

Great thin long sleeve shirt

By:

First of all I don't usually like long sleeve shirts. I tend to overheat, but this shirt is thin and breathes well. Fit is good XL 5'10 210lbs. Made in Thailand.

Is this thing really worth $90?

I've used both Capilene and this piece by Arc'teryx, but not anymore. When I thruhiked the AT I wanted something warm, durable, and lightweight; so I purchased the Quantum Dry Base Layer from 180s. You know that company that used to only sell the wrap around earmuffs? They've moved into base layers, and have a product that trumps both this and Capilene, while being cheaper than both.

Check it out, and a word to the guys at Backcountry... get your hands on some of these things. I'll be the first to give it a 5 star review.

here's why it's $90. Silkweight body that is way more durable against picks and pill than any other silkweight fabric. Lightweight softshell arms/shoulders. this thing will outlast any other lightweight performance shirt because of fabrics and construction.
Short answer, Yes it is, and so are you.

I wear it over a light base layer. Does the job well.
