Arc'teryx Blade 21 Backpack - 1281cu in - 2008

Arc'teryx developed the Blade 21 Pack to give you enough storage space and organization to take on big day of travel, work, or school. A padded side-access compartment holds a 17in laptop and keeps it safe from bumps along the road of life. Front, top, and internal pockets keep your necessities organized when you load the Blade 21 Pack and head out the front door. *Only available for US shipment.

Bottom Line: Carry your daily essentials with more comfort and organization thanks to the Arc'teryx Blade 21 Pack.

My media bag

As a semi professional skier , I have to be more media savy than avy savy sometimes. this bag carries it all. Computer/camera/headcam/flash drive, remote control. All the dorky essentials I need to make my slide shows happen.

Although I agree that when it is empty with just my computer it needs a strap or something to keep it from banging around.

No it’s not waterproof but I’d say it’s fairly water resistant especially with the super tough 1260D & 620D Nylon and it’s coated with 1.5 oz. polyurethane

Lap top compartment thickness...

By:

Okay, so here's the problem. The PC compartment is way too wide, unless I have bunch of files in it, my PC will jump around a lot. Arc needs to install strap or extra pocket to keep a PC down. The rest are great, very comfortable indeed.

I would like to know if this pack would hold a Dell XPS 1710

It will hold a 15.4" laptop but a 17" would be pushing it. You might not be able to totally zip it up.

Interesting design, wish it has cup holder

I bought it mainly for my business travel. I wasn't sure about the side access on computer and pen pockets, and I'm still not sure if I like the idea. My pens would stay down, but the rest of little things are always all over the place. Computer compartment is nicely padded, in fact the whole pack is padded somehow. I do however wish the middle compartment has more space, so I can store my travel items in there. Oh, and cantee holders would be really nice for traveling...
