Arc'teryx Alibi Cropper Pant - Men's - 2007

The mid-calf cut of the Arc'teryx Men's Alibi Cropper Pants give you the ventilation and comfort of shorts with a little added leg protection for climbing and hiking. The knicker style gives you excellent freedom of movement on technical routes and eliminates the need to roll up your pant legs when you pull on climbing shoes. The Alibi Cropper Pants use a blend of cotton, polyester, and nylon to allow excellent durability and wicking ability when you head into the hills.

Quality, stylish pants

The Alibi Cropper pants are slim-fit. They are not the baggy ones you would expect that's suitable for climbing. I think they are well-made to Arc'teryx standard. The zippers are nice and neat. But these are not as comfortable comparing to Gamut long shorts that I have. I think they are too tight to be comfy, and you can't really put anything in the rear pockets.
If you need something that fits that will also give you extra protection in the knee region then you should consider these. I like baggier pants so next time I might try something else.
