Arc'teryx Agent Comp Pant - Men's - 2007

A combination of two burly nylon materials make the Arc'teryx Men's Agent Comp Pants durable enough for multi-pitch trad climbs and horrendous Northwest approaches. Fortius stretch fabric increases comfort and freedom of movement. The Agent Comp Pants also include Ottoman nylon reinforcements in the seat and knees for beefed-up durability. Grab these Arc'teryx pants to tick off Yosemite offwidths, desert towers, and long approaches to obscure crags.

Bottom Line: The Arc'teryx Agent Comp Pants combine impressive durability with amazing comfort.

These are my favorite pair of pants I've ever owned! They are tough as nails, keep you fairly cool in hot climates and fairly warm in colder climates, they dry fast, and they look and fit great! I'm 6'4" and 185 Ibs and a 32x35 fit me better than any other pair of pants than I've ever worn in my life. I've had a pair of these for about a year and a half and would gladly pay $150.00 for another pair. Unfortunatly they don't make them anymore. If you wear a 34x32 then you need to buy these pants! Great for hiking, climbing, and just hanging out. Trust me!!!

Is there any difference in the inseams on these? I ask because I may have to cut 6" off the length of these to get them to fit.Thanks.

They seem to run true to size.... at least for me anyway. Coming in different length's you may want to shoot BC.com customer service an email asking if they can special order you a certain size.Hope that helps.

Rugged Pants

By:
May 6, 2009

When the description says they are reenforced in the front, they certainly mean it. There is a whole additional layer of tough nylon across your knees and thighs that makes me think that these pants can stand up to a lot of abuse. The nylon dries pretty quickly, too.

Even though the nylon is thicker than other pants I own (such as the Arcteryx Rampart), the pants are still comfortable and breathable over the miles.

These are the pants to own if you are looking to do some off-trail hiking and/or rock climbing.

They are made of a thick nylon type of material, and seem more built for durability and wear resistance than lightness or small pack size. It will be more comfortable in the summer than jeans, but obviously not as breezy as shorts. If lighter pants are what you are looking for, I would recommend the Arc'teryx Rampart Pants over these.

The Arc'teryx Standard

By:
October 24, 2007

These pants have moved into my usual rotation of daily wear pants. The material is fairly tough, but not nearly as thick as blue jeans. They're a good choice for people who wear jeans, but want something that offers more comfort and flexibility.

Quality and comfort have been as expected from Arc'teryx thus far, which is to say: quite good.

Agent Orange

By:
May 30, 2007

I bought these because the name reminded me of the 80's punk/new wave band Agent Orange. But seriously, these pants are stylish and good for warm climates. I have three pairs. You guys are the bomb.
