Tastes Good & Filling

Nice addition to any small one person meal buy adding an extra portion & carbohydrates. Break the package into two servings to stretch out meals. Inexpensive & great flavor.

Very tasty

These potatoes were very good. Perfect side for just about any backcountry meal. Definitely much better than Backpackers Pantry Bacon and Cheese mashers.

Alpine Aire claims a 5-10 year shelf life on most of their meals stored under ideal conditions, but just to be safe, I'd eat most freeze dried meals within five years. I've actually eaten a few meals that were seven years old without any problem & they tasted as good as new ones.http://www.alpineaire.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=3&chapter=0&zenid=8a4f274ff7160beb33a6a488a68de9c3

A winner

Dehydrated meals can be hit or miss, but these are a winner. Fast and easy to make, and very tasty on the trail. I eat them for hot lunch, and sometimes breakfast.

Great B-Fast

I really like these potatoes as an alternative to oatmeal on occasion. They make a great b-fast or lunch.
