AlpineAire Apple Blueberry Fruit Cobbler

The AlpineAire Apple-Blueberry Cobbler makes a great addition at lunch, dinner, or anytime you're on the trail, for that matter. AlpineAire made this apple and blueberry cobbler with real fruit, so you don't have to fight the bears for their berries.

Bottom Line: The AlpineAire Apple-Blueberry Cobbler—mmmmmmmm.

Great Desert, Maybe not Cobbler

By:
October 25, 2009

Okay so maybe I was just incredibly hungry but after an 18 hour day of climbing and hiking this was a welcome treat. We added slightly less water than it called for and by the time we got around to it the instructions seemed too complicated so we just cooked it, mixed it up and ate. In my opinion it had good flavor and good texture. Definitely worth the money and the effort to prepare it. The serving size says 2 but we fed 3 people with 1 package and it was plenty.

If you dont cook it just right it probably wont be as good but I tend to add a little less water than they tell you to use and cook it a little bit longer. The flavor is ok not great

Cobbler?

By:
August 28, 2008

The label said cobbler, and we even cooked it longer than suggested to give it extra time to get closer to cobbler, but it never got there. Even after hiking all day and as hungry as bears, this dessert wasn't edible. The sauce never got thick, the biscuits were still dough, the taste was very bland, save your dollars for something else.
