Alpina Lite Terrain Touring Ski - 2005

The Alpina BC Lite Terrain Touring Ski is a backcountry stick with an alpine ski sidecut and flex. It's a svelter version of the wildly popular Alpina BC Cross Terrain Touring Ski with lighter weight and a less aggressive, more forgiving sidecut. The Lite Terrain still busts through the woods and logging roads of the world, but does it with greater ease and a more predictable, user-friendly character. Full metal edges give you bite on the hills and help protect the ski from errant sticks, rocks and squirrels. Grab the Lite Terrain Skis when you're looking for a confidence-inspiring jaunt around intimidating terrain.

Bottom Line: Backcountry bushwhackers on a diet.

Alpina Lite Terrain Touring Ski

This ski was purchased for a backcountry race that had extended flat terrain. The ski has a good combination of kick and glide and downhill stability.

Lite terrain skis

I bought and returned 180's. But, once I got the 170's and used them I really liked them. It's a great ski for the North West. Skin up a logging road and ski down the meadows. Nice ski!

I like these skis

After years of XC touring on relatively straight skis I can finally REALLY turn! I like these skis because they are good for most ski tours. Good for slogging-up logging roads and skiing down the meadows! They are too wide for track skiing, so when I track ski I use my old straight skis.
