Aire Outfitter I Inflatable Kayak

Get ready for your first whitewater trip or your second or third season on the river with the Aire Outfitter I Inflatable Kayak. Aire designed this kayak with large tubes and a low seating position for stability in the water. With a low-sitting center of gravity, you’re more likely to spend time boosting your whitewater skills and less time taking insultingly refreshing swims. The 19.5-inch bow and stern rise deflects waves and keeps all submarining tendencies at bay while the 12.5-inch-diameter tubes help create a balanced ride. This inflatable is easy to maintain, transport, and store. *Pump not included.

Bottom Line: Boost your river-running skills.

Great Boat for big people

By:
July 4, 2009

Paddled this down the Middle Middle section of the Sky river here in WA (class IIIs). This was a new one my friend kindly let me try his. it is an excellent boat, very nibble yet very stable and comfortable. I am 300#s and 6'8" so finding capacity and agility in a Ducky is tough. I also paddle whitewater about 1 per week. this is a great boat. Could easily handle anything you can as far as whitewater. I plan on buying one here shortly, based on how well it worked out for me a week ago. It is expensive because it is commercial grade design and quality. I have 3 other Aire boats, the company and products are outstanding!

Seems Good

By:
March 5, 2009

I didn't buy this, but just used one a friend of mine owns, and let me borrow. It inflated easily, and seemed stable in the water. It did not feel as sturdy as a non-inflatable, but I used it in class 2 and it held up just fine. It doesn't have many of the luxuries of a non-inflatable, and it did get me wet, even in only minor waves. Thus, I feel this is a good product for its class, but I wasn't really impressed.
