Adventure Medical Ultralight & Watertight .5 First Aid Kit
You like to go light, but you like to go prepared. Now you can do both with Adventure Medical's new Ultralight Series kits. Adventure racers, backpackers, hikers, bikers, and climbers all rave about the Ultralight .5. Paddlers love its waterproof design which consists of an inner leakproof bag with airtight seal (certified waterproof to 200') and a tough, lightweight outer bag made of 1.3oz silicone impregnated ripstop nylon. This outer bag also has the handiest little stuff pocket for driver's license, credit card, keys, etc. With this kit, you get just enough hospital quality supplies for one person all wrapped up in an ultralight package. SEE ULTRALIGHT .7 FOR VERSION WITH SUPPLIES FOR 2 PEOPLE (AMK0016).
Bottom Line: Like to go light? Cut corners, but don't cut the cut-curing kit. Get the Ultralight .5 instead.
This kit has just about everything you need. I did add a couple more strips of moleskin for my hiking trip but thats just for me. This has everything i will need and if I need anything I can always pick up as I go
Very light weight. You can take this anywhere... hiking, roadtrips, long-term travel, or just to keep in the glove box for small emergencies. Comes with everything you'll need to treat minor accidents until you can get back to civilization. And a great price too. Recommended!
This little kit comes with on all my trips now. LIght weight and functional. Add a micro dropper of Microdin water purifaction and you can travel the world with this little lovey first aid kit.
I take this with me on solo overnighters. Loads of great stuff included in this kit and the waterproof feature is clutch. Things not included that I carry along are a scalpal, needle & thread for sutures, a mirror (those four included in the AM Pocket Survival Pak), extra moleskin, Bactine spray, rubbing alcohol in a 30mL Nalgene dispenser, and a few painkillers (for serious emergencies only) if I have some laying around.
I love this little kit. Great design, with well thought out items for your everyday adventures on the bike or hike, as well as enough first aid for a few nights out on the trail. I highly recommend this to anyone in need of a great first aid kit that is both compact, lightweight, and full of the essentials you need when things go wrong.
what I like most about this is the waterproof case it comes in with the sil sack. Comes with the basics but I added a few more bandages and a few other odds and ends that I thing makes it a great little kit for a weekend or a week. Definetly add a small roll of duct tape around the tweezer bottle and always keep enough mole skin.
It's a great little (and light) first aid kit that fits in the smallest corner of your pack. Comes with a nice stuff sack plus waterproof resealable inner bag. Big enough to add a few of your own personal kit touches. I added some other medication (Immodium, Benadryl) plus some aluminium foil and a few water purification tablets.
I bought this as my First Aid Kit for mountain biking. Love the waterproof case! I can't believe how light it is and how much stuff actually fits into this little kit. Great for long or short rides and it is easy to replace any of the items used. I have a relatively small sized Camelbak and it fits nicely in the front pocket.
I have used this thing for minor cuts and scrapes but never for anything serious. I take it on every backpacking trip I go on and it is so lightweight that you don't even notice it. It has a good assortment of first aid gear.
This little kit has first aid essentials in a nice, compact size. I like the Adventure Medical case and nifty waterproof case inside (which is basically a heavy duty zip lock bag) and there is a bit of space for your own first aid additions to the Ultralight .5. I throw this first aid kit in my pack when mountain biking and going on day hikes and love the small size. I generally bring a supplemental first aid kit when I go on longer backpacking trips.
