Honestly, I have never used this kit--nor do I ever want to need to--but anytime I head outdoors doing something I might not have thought all the way through, this little sucker is with me. All the contents make sense as to why they are included, and there is a handy pocket survival guide with it to further drive this home. Weighs nothing. Sturdy container. It won't save your life by itself, but it'll help calm that 'well.....#@!*' feeling.

Well, I can't say that I've had to use it, thank God - but I feel a lot better carrying it on my hiking/backpacking trips. It has a nice selection of survival tools, all you really need to add is an emergency survival blanket/shelter, and maybe a small light source, and you have a very nice survival kit in a tiny little package that fits right in your pocket. I carry it even on my shorter day hikes here in the city parks.

No more thinking I should put a decent survival kit together, let the experts do it. I take it with me on every hike, and I added a few extras like micro pur tabs.
Great item a must for every trip

This is by far that smallest, most complete survival pack I have seen. The survival instructions are great. This fits perfectly in my Adventure Medical Kits Weekender first aid kit. With both of these I am ready for just about anything. It even comes with a scalpel blade. Pretty sweet.
