these little numbers serve a purpose. i have historically wrapped a wod of duct tape around a ski pole or a backpack strap. often adventure races make you carry some too. so this little number takes care of it. nice little package, clean.. and worth the $2.

You have better ways to spend you afternoon...

than sitting around trying to make your own small rolls of duck tape. These are perfectly rolled, and just the right size. Old guys used to all this 100 mph tape as it was used to patch small bullet holes in aircraft during some past war. Do leave home without!

Duct Tap

By:
November 24, 2008

It's small, it's cheap, it's sticky, it's duct tape. It does...whatever you need it to do. You know you'll need it eventually so you might as well buy it. Especially if you're $2.99 away from getting free shipping.

Duct tape is a necessity in the backcountry. So is saving your pennies to get out there more. Roll your own tape. Seriously.

Perfect roll

Perfect size and so convenient. I took a roll on a trek on the Inca Trail, and it came in handy for many of us on the trip. Used it to hold a backpack strap together, keep boot laces from untying, repairing a broken camera lens cap, etc. No trip should be without a roll!

you're gonna need it. multi-purpose amazingness. duct tape burns slow if you need to get a fire going and will fix a tent. even better when you're $2.49 away from free shipping...

Never be w/o Duct Tape

By:

I'm an avid hiker and equestrian who spends a great deal of time on the trail. These fit perfectly into my pack, my saddle bags or even my purse. This is good quality stuff and I've used it for everything from ripped packs to emergency horseshoe/hoof repair.

like little packets of fun...

By:
November 7, 2008

... potentially life-saving fun. Everyone needs duct tape, and by removing that big cardboard cylinder that's usually in the center, you can now take duct tape with you just about anywhere. Small enough to fit in your pocket, with the Adventure Roll, you can fix anything, anywhere... including both the international space station and broken axles on your Big Rig.

only negative is that the tape is more difficult than usual to pull off the roll on account of the smaller size. No biggie.

Very Handy

Great for securing non-stick pads, holding on patches in the hard to control heels and toes, and it comes in a nice convenient package. Duct tape is a backpacker's best friend. Maybe.
