The Atlas Women's 6000 Series Two Piece Trekking Pole is a no-nonsense snowshoeing pole. When you are out for a day or just an hour, you'll get the added benefit of arms in motion. With the two-piece construction, you can adjust the pole's length to accommodate the angle of the hillside. The snowflake baskets prevent “post-holing;” the steel flex tips stay strong in tough terrain, and Atlas molded the handle grips to fit a feminine hand. Nice poles, not very strong

I wish I could say that the poles were great. The adjustable height has been great for snowshoeing in various depths of snow, and they're comfortable to hold. However, the first time I fell, one of the poles bent 15 degrees. Maybe my expectations were too high, and I know that falling on them probably is outside of "typical use," but I expected them to be tougher.
