Arc'teryx Rho AR Bottom - Men's - 2007

The Men's Arc'teryx Rho Bottom has a tough exterior and soft interior to provide comfort in the mountains without sacrificing durability. The soft-handed fleece interior retains warmth while moving moisture away from your body, and the tapered cut allows you to layer the Rho under your favorite shell pants in bad weather. Made with trusted Power Stretch, the Rho Bottom is ready for a life on the move and can handle skiing, climbing, running, and all of the other things you do throughout the winter. A laminated thigh pocket holds your car keys or cash, so you always make it home. *Available for US shipment only.

Bottom Line: The Rho is ready to go.

Awesome Bottom base layer

By:
January 8, 2009

This bottom is a great piece to add for colder days. I'm pretty warm blooded and only use this for days under 15 or so. I used them the other day when it was -15 with just ski pants on top and stayed warm all day. I got a large and am 6'1, 190 athletic build and they fit snug. Not tight like under armour, but snug enough that they don't shift around when skiing. Great wicking and performance. Overall a great peice to add and they worked great. Well worth the cost for those colder days.

What's a Rowbottom?

By:
March 2, 2007

Typical "A" quality craftsmanship. Keep me warm on coldest days skiing in Breck. Don't stink after work up a sweat. Ugly color but got them on sale! Also love the name -- any UPENN graduate knows what a Rowbottom is!

Fantastic but not wind proof with a kewl pocket.

By:
February 11, 2008

These are fantastic layering pants or worn alone. I wore them alone in 40 degrees with high activity and they were great. Wicking was the best of any layering pants I own including wool/poly. However they are not wind proof. If its windy you need shell pants. And the pocket is kewl! I would buy them again and would have rated them a 5 if they had been windproof.
