Bottom Line: Hit the trail with the Arc'teryx Bora 95 Backpack and don't come back for at least a week!
I am a 5'5" 135 lb woman - and this pack rocked for me. I have had a HUGE time looking for an expedition size bundle that is comfortable as well as appropriate for my frame. This one worked.
Well, I would say the purchase was fine, the delivery good. Only one problem, I bought a $450 backpack with a clip missing from the sleeping bag strap and that's not a good thing. Kind of silly it wasn't caught before shipment. ArcTeryx called, said they we're going to send a replacement clip and I never recieved it. Other than that I'm happy with your company...
Just finished putting 40 miles on my new Bora 95. I adjusted it once at the start of the trip and then never again. It didn't slip at any of the adjustment points, nor did it shift during awkward movements. I removed the hip belt and used it with the top for a day/fanny pack that was very comfortable. So far this is the best pack I've owned. The outer sleeve really came in handy for rain gear, sandals and things I needed to get to without unpacking. I highly recommend this pack.
all right, this is the best damn pack ever made. period. It does everything but carry itself up the hill. It is the singly best designed pack I could have imagined. Kudos to Arc'Teryx. These days when I need a new piece of gear, I see if they make it and then just buy theirs. And you will have plenty of room for the kitchen sink!
If you are looking for a pack to hold everything, including the kitchen sink look no farther. Pack has great access to main pocket and is padded in all of the right places. When that snowstorm comes out of nowhere you will be happy you had the extra space to pack for the weather.
