Enjoy a relaxing meal for two or four with the Alps Mountaineering Camp Table. Pull the Camp Table out of your car and set it up easily at your campground. The Camp Table's sturdy aluminum frame prevents wobbling while you eat, and Alps Mountaineering included a carry bag to make this table a no-brainer bring-along.
Bottom Line: Set up the Alps Mountaineering Camp Table and eat your meals without attracting a whole ant colony to your campsite.
If you car camp, this is a must have. Every time you camp you try to set up a log station to do all the cooking and preparation on, but it always turns out to be a hassle. Why not avoid the tipping over cups, and food sliding into the dirt and have a sleek, light weight, foldable table ready to go. I love it and use it a lot more then I thought I would.
I've used this table quite a few times on car camping trips and I'm very pleased. It packs small (bag included) and sets up fast. The really nice detail is it's all aluminum, so you can cook on it, unlike vinyl roll-up tables, and it cleans up good as new. For the price it's comparable to tables twice the price. You know you want one!
The small size is a 28 x 28 square, 27 inches high, and the big one is a 32 x 32 square. Same height. For future reference, information like that can usually be found in the Tech Specs, as shown in the photo.
We planned on a camping trip- but I'm not a big fan of all day rains. So we helped our daughter with a little project and this table came in very handy! It easily held quite a bit of weight, assembled quick, cleaned in a snap. Now I really can't wait to take it camping.
This is nice for what it is. It can be put together in less than a minute (once you know how it goes together), and it packs into a bag smaller than that for most folding chairs. It seems well-made, and provides a good, fairly small work surface (with slats, so writing on it could be a problem). Yes, it's light, but it seems fairly stable when you have something on the table (I haven't had problems with it blowing over). The design of the legs doesn't really allow you to pull a chair up to it. If you need a small, portable table (for car camping, tailgating or kids' sporting events) this one is worth consideration.
This table has been on 6 trips so far w/o issue. It's light weight, easy to put together and stays in place. The build quality seems to be decent, but I do have concern that the plastic tabs that connect the top to the frame may snap off some day. It may not happen, but it seems likely give the design. For the price, it is a good value.
Good table. Has worked well for us. Only issue are the plastic nubs that hold the table top to the legs. They tend to be loose and make me worry about loosing one. With out the nubs the table top will not work that well. Otherwise good table for the price!!!!!
For the price and weight, this is definitely a nice table to take camping. It packs down pretty small and assembles quick. One gripe I have with it is that the support braces on the legs don't allow you to scoot your legs under the table. Other than that, it's pweety nice.
If you want a light, small, packable table this is a great table. Will if blow over in a breeze if there is nothing on it? Sure, but that is because it is so light. If you want heavy, get a boat anchor.
Is it built like a brick $#%*house? No, again because it is so light and portable.
If you want a place to put your beer, or set a stove without putting them on the ground, this table will do the trick.
I read a few nice reviews of this table (which I remain baffled by), and figured the aluminum would be a good surface for camping (no burn or melt & easy to clean). I unpacked and set it up. It was easy enough to figure out, but it did take a few minutes longer than I would have expected. But once set up (and set up properly mind you!), it is worthless. The table is so light, any breeze or sneeze would send it flying. It is so unsteady and floppy, I can't imagine placing anythying with weight or value upon it. I packed it back up and returned it without ever taking it out of the living room. I'll look for something else - maybe the wood/vinyl one from Orion

Great little table. We use it as a base for our camp stove. Very light and compact for storage and carry.
