Alpina Discovery Cross Country Touring Ski - 2005

The Alpina Discovery Touring Ski is designed for skiers who want the float and stability of a wide waist but don't want to muscle big gunboats around in the snow. The Discovery features 3/4in metal edges to give bite where it's needed without excessive weight. It is designed to be used in slightly shorter lengths to make it easy to maneuver in the bush. A Posi-grip waxless base offers a reliable kick in all conditions. Proving that good things do come in small(ish) packages, the Discovery is waiting for you.

Great all-around design, but very poor durability. Both skis are de-laminating after only two months of moderate use.
