4FRNT Skis Deadbolt 15 Ski Binding - 2008

You care about your ski graphic not being an embarrassment—so show some appreciation for a stylish yet bomber ski binding. The 4FRNT Deadbolt 15 Alpine Ski Binding locks you in when you’re charging extra hard in any conditions on the mountain, but its top-notch safety features sense when it’s yard sale time. Trust your ligaments to the diagonal heel and toe release system, which let you pop out from any impact direction to minimize twisting and tearing. The Deadbolt’s design lets you lean as far forward or back as you like without accidental release, and its four-roller toe piece keeps you exactly centered in the binding, for maximum control in the diciest times.

Bottom Line: Locked and loaded.

I love these things

These are by far my favorite bindings I have ever owned, I have never released when I shouldn't and they have saved my knees on numerous occasions. Lightweight enough to not notice them but strong enough to have confidence in them to keep you in.

I don't have an exact weight on these but if you have ever owned higher end Rossignol bindings then these are going to be a bit lighter than Rossi's and just a little heavier than Salomon's. These bindings are a great weight because you feel confident in their strength.

Great Binding

These things are one of the best bindings on the market. They are super tough, but still lightweight enough that you feel like you are getting dragged down. Add the 15 DIN and you are ready to charge anything without fear of it releasing on you. This binding rocks.

The only problem with putting these on bacon's is that the brake is only 96mm and the waist on the bacon's are 115mm, so you would have to get a wider brake or try and bend them out to fit.check out http://www.backcountry.com/store/HEA0037/Tyrolia-Peak-12-15-18-Fat-Brake.html for brakes up to 130mm for these bindings

the deadbolts have you deadbolted down for sure. they keep you in when you want to, and let you go when you need to. These are pretty lightweight, but at the same time are burly enough to keep you in place. I have not had any problems with prereleasing.
