David Bowie stole my Yowie

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

After having one of these for two seasons, I'd love to buy more but it's still in great condition.

I've used my Arctic Yowie in frigid Wisconsin, snowy days in Colorado, and wet days in the PNW. Although it's not too waterproof, it gets the job done until the end of the day.

My favorite part is that it's basically fleece connected to the traditional Yowie, so you can fold the traditional Yowie over the fleece, or visa-versa.

What I do is pull up the traditional Yowie a couple of inches so that the more breathable portion is over my mouth and lower face, and then the fleece covers my neck.

This is great for what it's meant to do. It keeps me warm and doesn't let the wind bite my face. However, the fleece gets kinda stinky after breathing into it for a while - as do all things. Anyway, for $7, I'd say it is worth it

    Good but...

Mine came in today and they sent me the wrong color. Not too big of a deal, but when you expect grey/black and you get purple,blue,pink... its a bummer. But, the material is nice and light. You can use it on the heavy (turtle fur) like material or the lighter fleece material. You get what you pay for. Not the greatest but it works.

      I made it work

Breathable fabric nice and soft, but there is only a single thread connecting the fleece (the black facemask part that feels like you could get at walmart) and the microfiber (which is nice and stretchy, good quality). I easily ripped that single thread the first day i had this face mask, so now i just use them as two separate facemasks. I hope they fix this problem in the future. All I ask is they connect the two masks with some more thread! Oh and it does a great job of keeping your WHOLE neck and face warm.

      Warm and breathable

I bought one for all of my siblings and we love how it's breathable and doesn't fog up our goggles when we breath into it. It is thin but it keeps your face nice and warm. I just don't like how it can scrunch up so you end up being exposed to the elements unless you pull it back down.

Best neckwarma eva! I've not used many but this one kills it. Only gave it 4 stars because it can sometimes be a pain to keep up on my face when the chill is whipping on my face and I fumble to hold it up. Stylish and warm. Shibby

          So many options.

When you come up on a Squach during your next backcountry outing, you can show him you come in peace. Plus you can wear this thing as many ways as Blossom had hats. For all you kids out there, that's a lot of ways. Oh, and it's warm!

          Cant Beat It

I usually use the other one without the fleece. It takes a really cold day for me to need a warm face mask, but this will do it. It fits perfectly and is really long so it covers your neck. A lot of other facemasks dont stay in place when you move your head, or it's hard to breathe through them. This is snug on your face but not uncomfortable as it's pretty light. You can also flip it and wear it without the fleece. I really cant stress enough how perfect these facemasks are. You dont have to think about it which is the best thing about these Fleece or no fleece, theyre the best. Just get one and find out

            arctic yowieee

I love this thing. Its great for any day of riding the mountain. Not to hot but never to cold. Great protection from snow ice and wind. I even use it at school on cold days to keep my neck warm.
