    The Sky Is The Limit

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This small Bluetooth speaker comes with a rubber handlebar mount, allowing you to mount it to your bicycle, tricycle, golf cart, baby stroller, doggie stroller, moped, hang glider, or anything else with a similar profile.

    Love Riding With It

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

For the small size, the Buckshot is surprisingly loud. I've used it while running and mountain biking and have had no issues hearing it over the wind. I love how small it is! It's so easy to bring along no matter what I'm doing. I mostly use it while mountain biking and I appreciate how little room it takes up on my handlebars. So far, it hasn't moved on my bars, whether climbing or descending.

    BIG CLEAR SOUND

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, but naturally as it is a speaker I get to listen to it too!

The sound on this thing is great! I'd say you could use it for background music at a small house party. Needless to say, you'll be able to hear your jams whether you're boating near by home, or hiking solo in the hills. The signal is strong, and can pick up your BT from up to 15-20 ft away. It seems the signal isn't very strong if there is an abject or person blocking the sound. Also pauses to reconnect when you are moving, so you'll definitely want to set it up when you are resting at night. However, it comes with a handlebar strap, and I can't wait to hear how it sounds when we strap it to our motorcycle this summer....stay tuned...;)

    She digs it!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I got this as a gift for my avid-biker/music lover friend and it is LEGIT. She was biking up to my apartment the other day and I heard her coming down the road. Not too shabby.

Stays connected to Bluetooth across a pretty large amount of space, doesn't get fuzzy when it's cranked up, and just sounds good! Connects easily to handlebars with provided attachment. Battery life is also on point... so I hear :)

    Good Enough

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Sound quality is as expected, not super but sufficient.
My aim was a tiny lightweight speaker than could charge directly from my 2watt 378mA solar panel (no battery pack), and this does. My tiny panel can easily keep up with its charging demands on a halfway sunny day.
Speaker weighs 4oz if anybody cares.
My solar panel is a Voltaic 2w w/micro usb tip. voltaicsystems.com

    Good Enough

    no more headphones

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

riding with headphones can be dangerous, this little guy still allows you to hear things around you, like your buddy and just ate it behind you. only complaint is sometimes when you are really moving the music is a little hard to hear over the wind

    This little speaker is sweet

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought it for hiking, just wanted a better speaker than the phone's speaker so I can enjoy my favorite music with fun people up on the mountains. Definitely worth the money. It's smaller than the pictures make it look, but powerful enough to provide the right level of ambient music - you can run a conversation while enjoying your favorite tunes. The glow-in-the dark feature makes it extra fun and easy to find when you're hiking at night. It was very easy to connect to my phone, other people's phones, and my laptop (iPhone, Macbook). The battery lasts for a while (I never got to the point where it stopped working so I'm not certain how long). Never had issues with the speaker and water. Only issue I do have with it is its range - seems short. Sometimes if it's on my left backpack pocket and my phone is in my right pocket it loses signal. It also happens if I walk more than 10' -15' away from it while it's stationary, or if something is between me and the speaker (a big boulder for example). Not sure if this is normal or it's just me, but that's the only downside if this little thing. Overall - super happy with it, and for $40, it's a pretty sweet deal.

biking + music = great time

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

this speaker is so nice, the sound is way nice, it gets plenty loud, the battery last for a super long time. and its small enough that it is not big and bulky on your bike. so if you want to be able to jam out while on your bike you need this!!

    Great little speaker

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I take this with me on job sites.

I aim it towards a wall and the reflected sound makes you wonder where the music is coming from, when people realize it is this tiny little speaker they are amazed.

While swinging in my hammock I love listening to music, I set this on my chest, then lay back and relax.

I would hate to be out in the wilderness and having to hear some nimrod blasting their crappy music through one. Isn't that the point of going out into the middle of nowhere. Leaving the modern world behind.

    Awesome product

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

its easy to set up and mount onto your bike. The sound is pretty good and pretty loud. I have used it on my mountain bike, bar bike, commuter bike, its nice to have specially while riding in groups or if you don't like head phones.

    Surprisingly Amazing

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Been eyeing this little thing for a while and finally pulled the trigger... cant believe i ever waited to buy it, this thing rocks! Its extremely compact, rugged and very easy to setup and use. The sound quality is phenomenal and can't believe how loud it gets for such a compact piece of technology. I have not tested out the calling feature yet, so we'll see how that ends up working. Is it a beats by dre pill? No. But is the beats by dre pill $250 better? not a shot. Great bang for your buck product (no pun intended). Overall, very happy with this purchase!

    easy groovin

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If your expecting a stereophonic orgasm, forget it. It's not happening here. If you are looking to hear some campfire grooves while swilling a few brews then this is the ticket. 10 hours + battery life, great sound for the money, user friendly, cool colors, durable, I like it. Thus far, no problems have been experienced. My buddies are envious. Buy it you'll like it.

    Pretty good

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've used this on my mountain bike, city bike, hiking stick, stroller, and office. The sound is "OK" if you don't have too much head wind or noise around you. I thought it was perfect for climbing or going on the flatter parts of trails. But I do like that they aren't too loud to annoy people around me. They DO hold onto the handle bars on some choppy single track without any issue.
The buttons are easy to use. You can answer calls and the clarity is pretty good.

    Adequate

The sound quality is mediocre. I have used speakers from a similar price point and they had better bass response and more volume in general.

The range was also mediocre. It worked well some times, but got interfered with easily.

What this is, is a small, light and water resistant blue tooth speaker for a decent price. Don't expect too much though.

      Excellent range!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use this speaker at work and it seams to have really good BT range! I can walk away from it while music is playing and won't hear any BT skipping. When I come back into range it sounds like it never disconnected at all! The sound is good enough for what I need it for and the 10 hour battery life is perfect!.

      Cons:

It doesn't have an 3.5mm jack for auxiliary input. Big Fail!

The splashproof cover over the micro USB charging port is difficult to open even if you have a little bit of finger nails. I found using a key or even the end of the micro USB to pry it open works will, but it should be easier to open with your fingers.

      Take it everywhere.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love this little thang. I use it everywhere. It's not so tiny where you feel like you are going to break it. Band is secure and really doesn't get distorted as it gets louder like a lot of portable speakers. Feels durable and I love the rubber grip.

I use it from bike rides to a legitimate speaker for crappy Apple products, like the terrible sound on my iPad. Easy bluetooth connect. read the quick instructions on the quick buttons and what they do, to make your life easier. I'm pretty impressed with these guys from OT. They really know how to treat their customers. good company, check out their Turtle shells, very cool.

      Awesome little speaker

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Buckshot is the best Bluetooth speaker for the price and size. It attaches to the handle bars perfectly and allows for pain free listening while cruising around town. It has very high sound quality and easy to use interface.

How well does this stay on your handlebars when ripping down a fast, bumpy descent on a MTB? Also, does anyone know the weight?
