Don't let looks fool you
This super versatile glove packs a punch. I run warm and these have kept my hands comfortable, warm and dry over hundreds of miles of varied terrain and temperature. The small lightweight profile makes for hassle free storage whether deep in your bag or on your gear loop for quick access. Soft or hardshell depending on the situation. 4 Thumbs up

Great gloves for base layer
I use these for winter/outdoor photography. They have enough flex that I can work my camera settings but thick enough they cut most cold weather.(most) I use the back zip pocket for a set of hand warmers to keep the blood flowing through my hands which helps a lot. In extremely cold temps this glove cannot work by itself but can be used as a liner with other systems. At 0f temps or below I will use this as a liner with Meteor Mitts or another flip-top mitten. These are also my daily gloves for casual use. The only negative is that they can be fiddly when trying to use a touch screen. I have to make sure they are positioned right before I start trying to use then this way. Not a deal breaker for me as I don't use this feature often.

Short term water protection
Light rain but wet foliage. Walked foe about an hour and half before waterproof shell wetted out and inner just soaked up the water. Was pretty dissapointed as I still had another 3 hours of hiking to go..if you out for a short walk or run maybe suitable but if your doing longer than an hour look for something else.....sorry

I recommend these gloves.
The warm gloves are nice, but what I find myself liking most is the shell. I actually have used the shell a few times already with a thinner liner I own, and that combo is really nice. Honestly, even if you just purchased this combo for the packable outer-shell, it would be worth it.

Terrible gloves
Terrible gloves. I should have listened to the poor reviews. Any cool temperatures - even just 40 degrees - these gloves are just inadequate. Shocked at how little warmth they provided for the cost of these. Steer clear (and now I am on the hook to pay return shipping).

Very nice gloves.. but not waterproof
OR just needs to change the description to more accurately describe these gloves. The description and specs say "waterproof", "water resistant", and "weather resistant", which is very confusing and misleading. The outer shell glove is not seam sealed or taped, therefore by design these are not waterproof. Customers shouldn't be confused when making a purchase.. the description should be accurate and concise. Other than that, they are of typical OR quality, fit as they should, and should serve the purpose of light duty use in mild wet weather conditions. Any prolonged exposer to rain will wet them out.

Darn good
I like these gloves. They are thin, which is (usually) good. They have a lot of dexterity. They aren't the warmest, despite the claims. But if you know that to begin with, then that is ok. I find myself choosing them most winter days as long as it is above about 10 degrees F and I'm going to be active (not downhill skiing, but running or cross-country skiing). They'd work for downhill skiing above probably 25 degrees.

The warmest thin glove I have ever had!
The only glove I have used alpine skiing for 2 years I bring my big fat gloves but never needed them these keep me warm enough. They are wonderfully lightweight!

Great product but better with mittens?
Have not used these yet but they look warm and good quality. Surprised that the waterproof layer is gloves rather than mittens but that is my own fault for not paying more attention when I bought them. These should still work great as required kit for ultras, but for colder weather I might pair them with Helium mittens (when they become available).
