A quick look at the Tantrum!
I will be honest....this isn't really a review video. This is apart of my vlog series, but it shows the tantrum being worn, and what my favorite feature is. I can remove if it doesn't fit the criteria for video, but thought it might be helpful. I am 5'10 - 235lb of pure muscl......fat and am wearing a size XL.
YOU NEED THIS
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: xl
If you run....then there is no reason not to own this jacket. This is my first ever Outdoor Research product and I am in love.
This jacket is so light, wind resistant, water resistant, and breathable that it makes running in cooler weather a pleasure! The jacket has some very well thought out features as well. Each sleeve opening has thumb loops that you can use to keep the sleeves in place and to keep the water and the cold out, but can easily be tucked inside when you don't need them.
The stash pocket on the chest has ample storage for a few gels, credit card, etc. I rarely ever use front chest pockets, but it gives you plenty of room.
My favorite feature is the internal stuff sack. Most of these types of jackets fold into the front chest pocket. When I am running and I do not have a pack I always have an issue of where to put the jacket if it is warmer than I thought, or if the weather has warmed up enough from the morning. This jackets has a pocket on the back that can hold more gels if need by, or if it is to warm can be stuffed into it and then worn around your waist with a best that is provided.....THAT IS AWESOME! That way I can store it while running and not have to worry about it, or really have to second guess if I am going to need it.
This is a great jacket and well worth it if you like to run as the weather cools!
Is the "integrated waist strap" removable?
