Outdoor Research Swift T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's - 2008 BCS

I bought this shirt in size large off SAC. I wear it when running and training in the gym ad plan to wear while mountain biking and hiking this spring through fall. I am 6'2", 190 lbs and the sizing is right on. I would have tried a medium, since I like a trimmer fit, but I doubt the torso length would have been adaquate for my height.

The pocket is in a wierd location (right on the hip) and I doubt I will ever use it because whatever is in there will bounce, but it isn't in the way at all either. Actually, an energy gel or two would be fine in the pocket, is you can stomach the stuff.

Just went for a two hour mountain bike ride and this shirt worked great!

This t-shirt is super soft and performs very well. There is a pocket on the right side, the zipper pull hits my wrist if I swing my arm against my body, but that rarely occurs. It is about the size of my wallet, but I wouldn't stash anything bigger than some cash and a key in it, due to weight.

The shirt performs well, but the pocket is irritating on my side. The pocket is a bit bulky when you don't need it. It's nice to have if I need to carry a key, but I always have a water bladder or backpack with me for that...
Overall, good shirt, but just know there is a zippered pocket sewn into the side. It would be worthwhile to have a picture of it in the description...

I bought this t-shirt for hiking. Since I sweat a lot I wanted a shirt that would wick and dry quickly. Since I got the t-shirt, I have used it to hike Half Dome, Mt Baldy and Mt Baden-Powell. It did not let me down. On the Mist Trail to Half Dome, I got wet from the spray off Vernal Falls. The t-shirt was almost dry by the time I got to the top of the fall.

This is my favorite hiking shirt. It's stylish and even has a tiny zipper pocket on the side where you can stuff something small, like a key. The problem is that I hate to stink it up because I wear them to work too.
