Outdoor Research Sonnet Cap - Women's - 2008 BCS

This hat is functional as well as cute. I bought it for hiking, but would definitely wear it elsewhere.
It fits true to size so order according to the size chart.
Hopefully OR will continue to make this as it is a great hat!

I love the Sonnet Cap, keeps the sun off my hair, fits nicely and looks great.

I have gotten a TON of compliments on this hat and I am always so stoked to say it's made by Outdoor Research.

I originally bought this to wear hiking or after biking when my head is all sweaty and dirty, but it's so cute and comfortable that I decided I should get a 2nd one to keep clean for every day use at work or out and about. Sadly the green one is sold out!

I have one suggestion for OR though... the zipper pull on the stash pocket was kind of annoying against my head because of the direction that it zips when it it closed. I just leave the pocket open so the zipper pull is under the flap that lines the bottom inside of the hat and it's not a problem, i never notice it anymore, but maybe for future versions they should reverse the direction of the zipper.

I also bought the size Large because women's specific hats NEVER fit my head (they are always too small) and I had to exchange this for a Medium. If it helps for reference, I also wear a size medium in Giro helmets (both ski and bike).

I hope OR makes more of these in even more color choices for next season.
