Outdoor Research Saturn Suit - Men's - 2007 BCS

Ordered the Saturn Suit - "XL" ....check the sizing.. this item is sized for someone approx. 6'3" to 6'5" and weighing approx. 240lbs. I am 6'0" and 215lbs. and found the long length and wider girth to be tooooo big!!! I can ususally wear an XL baselayer or sweater with no trubs, but this item is sized very large. It seems the "Large" may provide a better fit. Overall the item has good material and workmanship and seems to be errant in design fit.

The suit feels good next to your skin, stretches comfortably, and is warm. It does an excellent job of removing sweat away from your skin. The full crotch zipper is a god-send, made practical by its three zippers. I do not wear anything underneath it, and yet the suit has been surprisingly odor-free. Haven't had it long enough to comment on its durability, but I've had good experiences with other OR gears in this regard.

great product, very warm. i do have an issue with one of the other reviewers ref. the sizing. i'm 5'5" and 190. i have a good build not a giant beer gut. i say this because i bought the large and it fits really well. i suppose i could have it trimmed an inch or two but it's not necessary.

This suit works well for area and backcountry skiing. It can also be used for other pursuits such as cold-weather fly fishing. For those of us who don't want to buy separate clothing for each of our passions, the Saturn suit's a good buy.

Great Expedition wear...48 hours in the snow on Mt. Whitney and never took it off. Simplifies what you wear in COLD weather. I am 5'7" and needed the Small hemmed 5"...other than that, fit was fine. Highly recommend.
