A weather-resistant gaiter built for the ladies.

Keep snow, mud, and other trail debris from sneaking into your nice dry boots with the Outdoor Research Women’s Rocky Mountain High Gaiter. Thanks to the coated packcloth lower section and an elastic cuff, quick creek crossings, snowdrift postholing, and mudded out trails won’t be a problem. An underfoot strap and lace hook keep the gaiter secure, and a hook-and-loop front closure make for easy on and off.

great gaiters!

These are my first pair of gaiters and I really like them. I've used them for all my winter hiking. They are easy to put on and they adjust very well to my calf without sliding off. No snow in my shoes and I stayed nice and dry. I've worn them with microspikes and crampons and haven't ripped so they seem to be very durable.

Would these mountain High Gaiters be suitable for waring with snowshoes?

These would be perfect for snowshoeing. They're built a little tougher than the ones you usually find in the stores by Tubbs and the like, but still they are light enough for winter tromping. (Things like thorns, stones, and serious mud sometimes demand a heavier gaiter like the OR Crocodile). Only thing I would point out is that these are women's gaiters (note the flower on the side). I apologize if I presume incorrectly, but I think you would prefer these:

I hope this helps!
