Its a great comfortable unique hat - I have two. But you need a bit of color in the mix!!

Nice but small

I bought the XL and it is still too small for my head. Other than that is a nice hat and I have no complaints.

Perfect hat for travel.

I love this hat. It is great for travel. I have a suggestion for it. Add a fold down eye mask inside front body. I wore it on a long flight, and pulled it down over my eyes, but needed more coverage. I feel silly wearing a typical eye mask.

Great multi-use headwear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very solid hat. I have been wearing it almost daily at work (a pretty active job), on a couple hikes, and even during bike rides. It's lightweight and the foldable brim is great for tossing it into a bag or pocket. XL size fits as an XL hat should which is nice since I have trouble finding comfortable hats sometimes. I also receive compliments on it often. May even buy another color.

Ideal Summer Birding, Photography and Baseball Hat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is not easy to find a hat with a reasonable bill for my listed activities. Also, having a hat that can be folded (or shoved) into a pocket is a big plus. Binocular and spotting scope use also work better with a shorter bill. Another plus is the size. I need a "large", and "extra-large" is too big. "One Size" hats usually use some adjustment strap that is a compromise. My wife saw this hat style in Maine, and by by good fortune the store had my size. On losing the hat back in DC, I thought reorder would be easier. Nope-it's mail only. My usual supplier seems to regard this style of hat as out of character for the outdoor demographic.

Nice, except for this one weird, weird trait

Nice fabric. Very compact. UNFORTUNATELY..... it's airtight. It traps air between the hat and your head, and you're walking around with this weird inflated pillow on your head. I actually poked holes in mine to help the air esacape, but after a few minutes it sucks the air right back in and reinflates. Looking for a similar replacement.

Size difference

As others have said, I love my original hat winning I was in the market for a back-up hat in case I ever lost this one or wore it out. I ordered the large, same as the one I have now, but it fits a little too big and runs the risk of blowing off in the wind. The medium size is just a bit too snug to be comfortable. Please bring back the old sizing on these hats!!

I would absolutely buy again if the old sizing returned.

I've been wearing the Radar Pocket caps for years. During lockdown I purchased 3 and when I finally got the chance to wear one I was instantly shocked that the same size I've been wearing for years (s/p) was now completely too small. I could not wear one without it squeezing my head to the point of headache. And of course...by the time I realized this it was past the return date.

Great hat

This is the second one of these hats. I got another one, not because the old one wore out, but because I thought I lost it. I found the old one hours after he new one showed up. Now, I have two!
