Too small

I ordered a large but extra large would probably have worked if available. It wasn't. I was pleased with weight and feel of the beanie and would have found a niche among my hats had it fit.

Best hat I've ever owned!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
large

I love this hat! Although very thin it is incredibly warm as the liner totally seals out the wind. Better yet the hat is sort of "stretchy" and thus does not move around on your head. I really like this style of had because it allows you to leave earflaps up or put them down according to weather conditions. Trouble is the two previous hats of this style I've owned are constantly shifting around on your head and the flaps wind up blocking you vision. As I am a photographer that pretty much kills the deal.

They nailed it with this jacket!

I am super stoked with the performance, comfort and looks of this jacket! It does well in the PNW with the heavy, wet snow conditions we have often. This shell protects you from the cold wind but is still comfortable on the spring skiing days! I've done some hikes with my OR grid fleece on underneath the Hemispheres || and together they breathe well and prevent moisture buildup inside. I've used OR products for many different purposes. Such as their gloves while serving in marine corps infantry, grid fleece tops while BASE jumping/skydiving and ski gear in the PNW. I've always been impressed with their design and durability. Thanks for making great gear OR!

Low Quality Replacement

I purchased the same hat 20 years ago and recently lost it. The new model pales in comparison to what I originally purchased - thinner material, weaker stitching, less durable feel.

Needs to be a bit "bigger" to be perfect

Great hat except for one thing. If the large size was about 20% "bigger" it would be awesome. Slightly tight and because of Goretex it doesn't stretch much Otherwise it's awesome

Man, I Love This Jacket

Very comfortable. I can wear a sweater and vest and still easily zip up the Men's Hemisphere jacket. The hood provides excellent coverage.

Breathable, durable, and waterproof

I've taken this on around 10 days skiing (with a few being backcountry) and have not had it miss a beat. Very breathable for the level of weatherproofing it affords. I've been in the pouring rain, dumping snow, and it hasn't let me down! Lots of nice features you would expect in a higher price bracket

Hemispheres II Gore-Tex Jacket

I bought this coat for skiing and have only been up once. I feel I can give a much more accurate review at the end of the season. So far...quality appears to be very good and all zippers work well. Like the stash pocket inside and also the chest pocket. I wish it had a chest pocket on the right side to go with the one on the left. Like the vent zips on both sides.

It does the job

I'm 5ft 10in 170 and got the large which is nice for the ability to layer up when needed. The cinch hood and waist keep it from looking and feeling too baggy. It sheds water and has kept me dry in the one storm I wore it in. No touring with it yet, but seems to have ample vents Two cons- No arm pocket for your ski pass. Cuffs are a bit tight and difficult to get over gloves.

Best Jacket yet!

I have the jacket and matching bibs, by far the most comfortable shell combination I have ever worn. The stretch and flexibility is my favorite part about these garments. Yes they are waterproof and keep you dry in all manner of mountain environments (and a hike in a coastal monsoon) but other jackets can do that as well. It is the comfort that really sets this apart. Well executed and excellent quality.
