small, seam at the base of the thumb

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it

I'm 6' 0 185 lbs. without big hands. I ordered a large and could barely get my hand into them. I swapped them for x-large they arrived today and I can get my hand in them and they are tight. They probably will break in, but they have a big seam at the base of my thumb where 3 pieces of leather meet which is very uncomfortable without even using them in the field. Not a good design. I'm returning them
