Why We Like The Lucent Heated Sensor Mitten

We count on the Lucent Heated Sensor Mitten while we’re searching for cold smoke on those cold and clear winter mornings in the mountains. These mitts are built with an AltiHeat rechargeable battery-powered heating system, turning our ice-cold, white, painful fingers into warm, toasty, nimble ones. Different colors act as heat indicators for the different settings (red for warmest, yellow mid-warm, green low-warm), and they work with one simple button.

Ditto, would not purchase again

Purchased these gloves January 2022 and the batteries no longer work. In order to get a full refund, it appears I need the original packaging and tags! Guess I'll go with the cheap foreign made gloves and throw them away after a years use.

I would not buy this product again

They keep you hands warm when skiing or other outdoor activity in the winter. They only worked for two years. Purchased new batteries and still did not work.

Newer heat technology reducing the need for more batteries

These replaced my 6-year old Capstones. Although half the battery capacity of the Capstones, the technology has improved so that all the extra battery is not necessary. On medium heat, which is unlikely to be needed continuously, they lasted over 5 hours. A spare battery set changed out at the mid-day break, will give more heat than I'll need for a full day on the mountain. That and the fact that without the electricity, they are a fine set of mitts - very top shelf!

Lucent heated mittens

I wore Lucent heated gloves for years but my thumbs always got really cold. I decided to replace the gloves with these mittens. Huge improvement in warmth for all five fingers!! I use them on long dog walks (4 miles) in 20 degree weather and often end up turning them completely off before the end of the walk! The mittens are a lot bulkier than my old lucent heated gloves, but the mittens keep my hands A LOT warmer!

Buy these if you have poor circulation

I can't ski for a whole day without these during the cold winter months. My hands and feet get very cold, and even with my older OR (non-heated) mitts stuffed with down mittens and hand-warmers, my hands simply couldn't make it past the afternoon. Now these are AMAZING, I put them on at medium and leave them there for most of the day.

Finally! Warm hands

Great fit. Easy to charge. Love the straps because I'm always dropping my mittens

Life changing!

I have terrible Reynaud's syndrome and my hands get painfully cold. Heat packs don't work bc my thumb freezes. These mittens are amazing whether I'm skiing or at the dog park in the winter. I wear them almost every day. I would have to give up my winter sports without them bc my hands are non functional. For full day mountain use, I bring an extra set of batteries with me.

These mittens rock!

I rarely use the highest heat setting and they keep my hands warm. I use them when I ski and snowshoe in the Rockies in subzero weather. Batteries hold up fine and I have never run out of power.

Saved my skiing season!

I suffer with Raynaud Disease and my finger tips get too cold to ski. I mean really cold. These electric gloves to the rescue. They work perfectly and the 3 settings are convenient. TU Cheers Hugh
