Used these while abseiling. They protected me well from the rocks and kept me warm. Very comfortable.

I ordered the medium and find they are a bit too big. My waist is 30 in. and hips 37 in. so wanted to be sure the waist was comfortable. I might have been able to get a size small. I can definitely get a pair of long underwear underneath.

These are our uniform pants when we're teaching skiing and snowboarding and we're not impressed. (Luckily we're allowed to wear our own black pants to work if we want, every year, more and more of us are ditching these pants.) As it's Washington, rain is very common, yes even in winter; these pants are not waterproof! When it's raining, wearers of these pants can't be outside longer than 5 minutes before getting soaked. Even sitting on the chairlift earns the wearer of these pants a very cold/wet butt, very disappointing. The 'feminine fit' is practically non-existent, these fit much like the men's version of the pants.

Is there anyway to find out if BackCountry will be getting in any more of the Outdoor Research Intuition Ski Pants in XS? I have the brown and I would own EVERY color that they carried if I could find my size. I love the way they fit, wear, fabric, and the zippers. I have a gazillion pair of ski pants and these Intuitions are about the only pair that I have worn all season!!! Love em....
