Iceline Softshell Jacket - Men's

When you venture out for a week of ice climbing in Ouray, be sure to bring the Outdoor Research Men's Iceline Softshell Jacket along. Ice has a tendency to be, well, wet, so the Iceline is equipped with Outdoor Research's Ventia three-layer shell to shed moisture from snow, ice, and whatever saturated goodness you encounter out there. To keep the jacket breathable during heart pumping ascents, OR went ahead and hooked the jacket up with a breathable softshell face along with plenty of stretch to keep you powering up to the top-out. It's no secret that ice and alpine climbing can take its toll on gear, so Outdoor Research reinforced the Iceline with double weave panels along the underarms and lower body and inserted a grid fleece backer along the inside to add just enough insulation, so you can leave the bulky midlayer back at the rig. A trim fit reduces needless bulk and fits well under a harness to reduce annoying snagging when climbing. The hood is helmet compatible, wire-brimmed, and fully adjustable for added protection when the snow starts to fall.
