A warm and versatile glove for a variety of conditions.

The Outdoor Research Women's HighCamp Glove takes your high-energy attitude towards work and play to a new level. You can bike to work year-round or nail a new climbing route in Ouray in this waterproof, breathable, and darn-tootin' warm glove. The removable liner and insulated, weatherproof outer glove add late-fall through early-spring versatility.
The shell uses Ventia Dry, a breathable and waterproof barrier against rain, snow and wind when conditions demand nothing less. PrimaLoft One insulates the shell, giving your hands finger-snapping warmth without a lot of weight. Even when the tip of your nose is crusted over, the leather palm on the shell stays soft and supple, providing consistent grippiness for handling ski poles, ice axes, or windshield scrapers. Sport the shell alone when you're up against nasty weather but don't need the extra liner warmth.
The lightweight polyester fleece liner ups the heat ante when you wear it inside the shell, and if it's so cold you can't see clearly, pop a hot pack in the heat-pack pocket on the back of the liner for unbeatable warmth in practically unbearable cold. Pre-curved construction reduces the amount of work you'll do flexing your fingers or flipping the bird. The liner sports silicon grips on the palm and the fingertips, so you now have no excuse for leaving a trail of gear behind you when you're wearing just the liner for ski-tours or chilly runs. Keep swirling snow and intrusive wind off your wrists and out of the gloves by tightening the ladder-lock wrist cinches and SuperCinch gauntlet closures.

happy customer

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I bought these gloves to upgrade my sad old gloves that I had put through 10 years of torture. I've been extremely happy so far. I've worn them with and without the lining and find both options comfortable. The inside of the shell is fleece lined and I really like that. So far they've done well on the ski hill, around the city on colder days, and clearing snow off a car when I was too lazy to grab a snow brush.

I used to be the one with cold hands, always, this weekend I took these gloves on the hill with single digit temperatures and was happy. (and didn't even use their hand warmer pocket)

I will say, the sticky side of the velcro that attaches the liner inside the outer shell is on the liner. If I take the liners out for whatever reason, I find them sticking to all my other gear because of that velcro... so watch out for that, you'd hate to lose a liner somewhere or leave it behind.

Purchased these for skiing in Vermont and they worked out wonderfully.
If they had a pocket for a heat pack and if they were a little more stylish I would give them 5 stars. Those are the only complaints I have.

Just wanted to let you know that they do have a pocket for a heat pack!

It's on the inside of the liner, so you'll have to turn the liner inside out in order to access the pouch.

Soft and warm

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share

Lady friend loves the fleece liners and how warm these keep her hands. She's a die hard skier and hiker and uses these all the time now. Of course, we rubbed some NikWax into the goat leather. Super water proof so far and no problems at all with cold fingers.
