Pare down your load and travel fast on wide-open trails; these highly packable Helium Compression Sacks, from Outdoor Research, perform on trips where weight and space need to be minimized. Constructed of 30d ripstop siliconized nylon, with 50d x 210d ripstop nylon compression rings on the ends, these sacks work great for compressing sleeping bags and puffy jackets. Two of the four compression straps feature quick-release buckles to ease packing and unpacking compressed loads. A drawcord closure, with a Hypalon-cordlock keeper, cinches tight to keep in check your uncooperative sleeping bag. Bound seams on the end caps enhance durability, and the lid has a built in pocket that can be used to store small items or to hold the stuff sack when it's not in use.

Bottom Line: If you're moving fast, light, and compact you'll want a quiver of these compression sacks.

Really lightweight but still strong

This stuff sack is amazing. I used it on my last week-long trip to put my 0 degree sleeping bag in. I used the 7 x 19 one. It was a tight squeeze and I worried it might rip as I compressed it, but it definitely held up well. By the end of the trip I was compressing it even more.

Great sack, bad label

This is an awesome stuff sack. Problem is that I thought I was getting a bargain because the SKU was labeled "Gray, 4"... Yes, I really thought I was getting 4 sacks. So, it's a super sack but if you want a set make sure to order the right product.

I use one of these for my marmot 15 degree bag, and I can get it down to the size of about big honeydew melon. Saves space and worth the extra weight.
