Bulk is out; Havoc is in.

If there's one piece that can make you smile as the chilly temps of fall segue into snowy days of winter, it's the Outdoor Research Women's Havoc Insulated Jacket. With just the right amount of insulation sandwiched between a soft taffeta lining and highly-breathable, water-resistant WindStopper outer material, the Havoc is the ideal outer on mild days and a superior insulating mid-layer on epic dumps.

Blah

I received this jacket as a Christmas gift. This is my first OR research product and I have to say I am not too impressed. It does offer more features then some of its competitors, nice color options and the fit is ok. I found the performance to be lacking. This jacket really gives way to the wind despite its WindStopper fabric. It is a bit noisy and the Primaloft Eco didn't deliver the adequate warmth that you would expect from 60g.
There is a reason why this jacket hasn't had any reviews. I would look at the Arc'teryx atom line if you interested in nice mid layer with similar features, superior performance and a competitive price. I own the Atom LT and love it.
