Good Material, Bad Cut

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The fleece on this jacket is nice and just the right warmth. It fits good in the shoulders but it's baggy in the midsection. The cuffs are quite loose and they get looser with time. The deal breaker for me was that the collar on the left side is always bent toward my neck and poking me. No matter what you do, it will bend back into you neck. Quite annoying.

I'm 6'1", weigh 195 lbs, reasonably athletic (don't have too big of a belly). Is an XL or L the better size?
Thanks!

Go for the Large if you like a fairly close or athletic fit.

Just fine

This is a good fleece jacket. I'm 6 ft., 185, 44 chest, and a large fits me well. There's enough room for a shirt or heavy underwear underneath. The sleeves and body are long enough to provide good coverage. The weave of the material allows it to stretch, the material itself is burly, the pockets are usable, and on sale this thing is a steal.

A bit large

I just received this jacket and it's very comfy, though it is a bit large. I'm 5'8" and stand at 180+/- lbs. I'm fairly athletic, but I'm not thin by any means of the word. I got a medium and it's a bit baggy (I was expecting something tighter to the body). The arms and waist length are perfect, just wish it was a bit tighter around the body and arms. I don't have skinny arms either (they aren't huge, but muscular, so I figured at least that would have fit more snuggly). Anyway, it seams to be worm, very soft on the inside and feels rugged on the outside.

Hi:
I am 5'4" 125lbs, will small be too big and sleeves too long? I like my jacket more fitting than baggy. Thanks.

Tim,
The small might actually be too big for you, especially if you like a snug fit. However, the small is the smallest size offered by OR in this jacket. You could give it a try, and return it if not satisfied.

I am 5' 9" about 145 and not too husky. Would you recommend a medium for this jacket.

Ya you should get M.
