Warmer than you'd think!

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I just got these gloves a week ago, and they're already my favorite!

Just some quick background on my enviroment and their use to me...I'm currently living in Salt Lake City this winter as a bicycle commuter.
I've been using these gloves on the bike at speeds ranging from 15-30 MPH, both during the daylight hrs and night time commutes. I still have yet to feel a single draft through these gloves! And to top it off; I don't end up with sweaty/clammy hands, so when I do remove the gloves outdoors, my hands aren't wet and freezing cold.
Also, the snug fit combined with the grippy fingertips allows me to work simple functions while riding without having to remove them.

I love these too! I don't wear them technically, just walking, drining, shoveling, but you are right about the warmth - and comfort too!

Thanks Eric!

Good warm gloves

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I like how these gloves have a soft warm inside and fit my hand very well. I like the color and look as well! I have ranauds syndrome which makes my hands extremely susceptible to cold so these are a must for me if it drops below 40 or 50F. If its below 32 I want something warmer than these unless I am running in which case I have been fine in these down to 7F. They breath fairly well unless I sweat hard on a run they they start to become damp and get cold. Overall, great gloves!

Warm and stylish

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

These gloves are great and provide instant warmth. I have worn them in a light drizzle but I would not recommend anything heavier than that. Like most of all the other reviews say they do look well in business casual type clothes.

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:Runs large

Love these. Bought them for a semi-dress glove that would double as an emergency set in my glove-box. So far, So good. Dexterity is OK? The material is very thick, but they are indeed warm. Absolutely NOT wind/water resistant, but thats not what they are designed to do. If you are looking for a glove to keep your phalanxes feeling nimble and warm while watching your favorite winter sporting event from the stands...these are your gloves.

Outdoor Research Flurry Gloves and Mitts

Outdoor Research® Glove Product Manager Meghan Martens discusses the Flurry Gloves™. Constructed of Alpin-wool™ Plus fabric, the wool/nylon exterior of these warm gloves pulls moisture away from the skin, while the soft fleece interior provides the ultimate in cozy, warm comfort. MotionWrap™ palm construction, a snug, stretchy fit and grip-sensitive silicone prints on fingers allow for excellent dexterity and grip.

OR Flurry Glove

I did not like these gloves at all. The seams were sharp (for lack of a better term), and they were right on your finger tips and right between your fingers, resulting in the feeling of constantly being stabbed between the fingers by these gloves. I returned them immediately. I'm pretty disappointed, as OR generally makes great stuff

    Outdoor Research Flurry Glove

I got these primarily to match my winter business jacket and for use around the town. While snowshoeing these offer excellent warmth, even when damp. Wet snow sticks to these like iron to a magnet. They do tend to take a little longer to dry than I had expected, but the wool and synthetic construction retain the heat, keeping my digits toasty warm.

      Greatest gloves ever

I bought these thinking they would just be another lightweight glove, these things are WARM. I was working outside in 15 degree weather with a different pair and could not keep my fingers warm, went and changed to these and had no more problems. Would buy again.
