Awesome pant

The first trip these pants saw was to Mt. Rainier in July. They were the perfect pant with an baselayer to get from the visitor's center to Camp Muir. Super lightweight but good at blocking wind. I'll be using them this weekend to summit Ruby Dome in Northern Nevada.

The one thing I was worried about before buying these was if the zipper that separates would be too easily felt and that it would rub harshly on my knee, but that was not the case at all. The are light and breathable. I only have one complaint, I wear 32x32 and got the regular length and that was great when standing up, but when i sit down the pant bottom rises up a little too high.

Awesome... I find that is my worst fear with Convert pants as well. Especially if I get damp, it will tear the skin right off my legs

Hello. I bought a version of these 3 years ago and the Supplex

Hello. I bought a version of these 3 years ago and the Supplex crinkled/wrinkled very easily, took forever for the wrinkles to come out, and the pants were very noisy - noisier than any of my other all-nylon pants from Arc'teryx, LL Bean, Ex Officio, and Columbia. Does anyone know if the OR fabric used in these pants have been updated and caught up with the nylon fabrics used in many others? Thanks!

I am totally with you . I had the same pants, but gave OR another try. SUPER happy. soft sanded supplex nylon, quiet, not crunchy. They really made a nice change!

Pant a lants

I totally dig these pants- the zippers on the bottom of the leg are a life saver. They repel light water and clean/dry very easily. The nylon is much softer than some of my cheapo zip-off's, and they seem to breathe much better. I wish they had a cargo pocket! Pretty happy with these basic zip-offs though. I wear a 32x32 but sized up to a 34- might be a mistake on a thru-hike due to weight loss, but for weekend wars it was a good call.

From the size chart, it looks as if you would be wearing a large, which has a 33 inch (84 cm) inseam.

I got these really cheap on backcountryoutlet.com. I'd have trouble buying them at full price but at 50% off who can complain? Vey light and breathable, not at all intended for harsher weather.
