nothing special, I love being organized and these ditty bags help with that

dry but not rugged

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

great assortment of sizes. easy to pack. lightweight. keeps gear very dry. I've had no rips but the material seems thin but that's what you get when youre looking for lightweight packable gear. two weeks ago I put my cell and speaker in it, attached it to my boardshorts, and swam to a floating dock to party and everything stayed bone dry.

Worked for me!

I have used these for 3-4 years now & I am happy with them. They are lightweight so they are not made to be thrown around & beat up. If taken care of & closed properly they will work just fine for you.

damp bags

They leaked and ripped very easy. They kept out gear organized, but gallon zip-lock bags would have done a better job of preforming both functions.

Are these waterproof like a true drybag?...

Are these waterproof like a true drybag? I'd like to use them in my kayak to store things like first aid kit and other stuff that needs to stay dry. Thanks

They are TPU coated and fully waterproof. If sealed properly all your stuff should remain dry.

They do sweat slightly. I filled one with water to test them. after an hour the material felt damp and I could squeeze water out of the opening. So Yes they are!

Went on a hiking trip and a friend brought a couple of these to store food in on the bear line. They are not waterproof and rip very easy. I do not recommend them.

^ I disagree with the comment above. I have used these for 3-4 years & they are 99.9% waterproof if closed properly. I have used these on a bear hang multiple times in the rain & have not been upset yet.
